Ford 272 V8 Engine

The Ford 272 engine was a small blip on the screen for the Ford Motor Company and was produced from 1955 to 1957. The 272 was overshadowed a lot by the Ford 292 V8 which was released the same year and used in the all-new Thunderbird. Probably the most popular car that the 272 ever saw use in was the 1955 and 1957 Ford Fairlane. Most of the more family-oriented cars that Ford produced from 1955 to 1957 saw the use of the 272 V8 or the 223 inline six.
